Thank you for purchasing your holiday with World Travel Lounge, part of the Co-operative Travel Consortium. We hope that you are looking forward to your holiday!

If you need any assistance with arranging any additional aspects of your holiday please don’t hesitate to call us. In the meantime, if you would like to make a payment towards your outstanding balance, or if you need to provide Advanced Passenger Information, you’ll find all the relevant details on our API page.

Making a Payment

To make a payment towards the outstanding balance of your holiday, click the relevant button below. Remember that we don’t charge you to use any type of payment card and that includes Credit Cards & American Express too.

If you selected the option to pay for your holiday by installments, any payments you make above will not automatically reduce the amount of your future payments. Please call us free on 0800 059 9656 once you’ve made your payment and we can adjust this for you.

You will need to have the the following information to hand in order to make your payment:
  • Lead Name
  • File Reference Number (Booking reference)
  • Lead Passenger Postcode

My Travel Documents

If you’ve made your booking via our website or call centre then you’ll be able to access your booking documents via clicking the relevant link below.

You’ll receive a text message as soon as your tickets are available to download and you can download them directly from our website or by downloading the MyTravelApp from the App Store or Google Play Store and logging in with your booking reference and e-mail address.

Only travel documents for bookings that have been made via our website or call centre are currently accessible online. If you’ve booked in one of our stores then the store will be in touch with you as soon as your tickets are ready for collection.

What is my File Number or Booking Reference?

Your Booking Reference is referred to on all of your confirmation e-mails and paperwork as ‘File Number’.

Your File Number will begin with one of the following:

620, 650, 800, 810 or 820 if you’ve booked in one of our stores
830 if you’ve booked via our website or call centre

If you can’t find your File Number, please give our friendly Customer Service team a quick call on 0800 059 9656 and have your passenger details, departure date and home address to hand.

The balance due date on my online booking is different to what I was expecting?

We offer many types of holidays and depending on the type of holiday you’ve booked with depend on when you need to pay.

For Tour Operator packages (such as a Thomas Cook, Jet2 or TUI package or a cruise) then balances are generally due 14 weeks prior to your departure.

Where we’ve built the package from scratch for you (listed as Midcounties Co-operative) on your confirmation then your balance will be due 6 weeks prior to your departure.

Our system automatically defaults to all balances becoming due 14 weeks before departure but please don’t worry. Please use the date we sent you in your original booking confirmation e-mail.

Who are the Midcounties Co-operative?

The Midcounties Co-operative are one of the largest independent co-operatives in the UK.

World Travel Lounge is a part of the Co-operative Travel Consortium – a name you’ll be familiar with. We have access to thousands of amazing holiday deals and being part of the consortium you know that you’re fully protected with both our ABTA and ATOL protection.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes. If you’d like to make a cheque payment you need to send it a little before your balance due date as they can take up to 5 days to clear.

– Please write your surname and booking reference on the back of the cheque
– Please make the cheque payable to ‘The Midcounties Co-operative’
– Please post your cheque to:

We’ll send you a text message as soon as your cheque has cleared and been added to your booking.

Can I pay by cash?

Yes. You can make a cash payment by calling in to one of stores and our friendly colleagues will be able to help you.

What can I do online?

You can view your full booking through this website. You’ll be able to see your flight details, accommodation, how much you’ve got left to pay as well as when your balance is due.

You can make payments using your Debit or Credit Card and you’ll receive a receipt by e-mail instantly as well as see the balance of your holiday go down.
